Members Terms

1. These terms cover membership of Comparison Plus. Should there be any conflict of understanding then the Comparison Plus Terms will prevail. By becoming a member of the Website you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. If you do not accept these Terms you must immediately stop using the Website.

1. When you place an order with one of the Merchant’s via this website you will earn a percentage cashback sum in the amount specified by the Merchant in their offer (as defined in clause 4 below)

1. Comparison Plus operates a one user one-account policy.
2. Any attempt to open more than one account will lead to a suspension of membership privileges.
3. You must be over 18 years of age, and resident in the UK or Northern Ireland
4. Comparison Plus reserves the right to refuse to accept a new member and the right to cancel any memberships at any time without liability. Reasons include but are not limited to: attempting to operate multiple accounts; an account becoming dormant for a period of 183 days or more; misuse of offers from Merchants or fraudulent use of your account.
5. You are responsible for assessing any tax implications that may arise through receiving cashback payments.
6. Where an account has been dormant for more than 183 days and we have been unable to trace or make contact with the Member then any cashback in the account will be cancelled.
7. You agree that you will not allow another person to use your account, or transfer your account to another person; or divulge your password to another person;
8. Members agree that their accounts will not be used for any illegal activity whatsoever, Members agree that they are responsible for all activity through their account.
9. Where an account is closed due to miss use illegal/fraudulent activity all accrued cashback in such an account will revert to Comparison Plus.
10. Comparison Plus reserves the right to reclaim all payments already made on any account closed due to miss use illegal/fraudulent activity, the member will be asked to repay any cashback received. Should the member refuse to repay cashback all available methods, including legal action, will be taken to recover these funds.

1. An offer is defined as any promotion linked to a Merchant. Each offer is governed by the individual terms of the Merchant. Please check with the Merchant concerned for full details. Comparison Plus reserves the right to remove or amend any offer at any time without notice.
2. Comparison Plus reserves the right to cancel transactions linked to an offer that it deems to have been due to an error. In cases of dispute, the decision of Comparison Plus or its Merchants will be final.
3. All discounts offered or other promotions excluding cashback are the responsibility of the respective Merchant. Members should confirm the validity of a discount with the Merchant concerned before completing a purchase. Offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion unless otherwise stated. This includes promotional vouchers, discount codes, refer a friend promotions, or other discount offers provided by other organisations. Use of such codes may make your purchase ineligible for cashback, and should not therefore be used. However promotional codes, vouchers and discounts listed on www.comparison-plus.co.uk can be used in conjunction with cashback unless otherwise stated.

1. Any transaction/order you make is with the Merchant and not with Comparison Plus.
2. Cashback is offered by Comparison Plus from the commission we receive from the Merchant. The Merchant has no knowledge and/or responcibilty for the cashback offered
3. Cashback can only be paid when a Comparison Plus member has logged into our site and accessed the retailer's site via a link from the member's area. Cashback is awarded when the Merchant confirms your purchases.
4. Cashback has no cash value until a withdrawal request has been approved by Comparison Plus At this time cashback will be converted into UK pounds at the rate of £1 of cashback = £1GBP. Cashback amounts are provided for guidance only. Most Merchants report transactions within a few days however some take up to 120 days to report transactions to Comparison Plus. This is to allow for items returned, and for which cashback is not paid. Where a Merchant has not logged a purchase, we reserve the right not to allocate cashback. No liability will be accepted for software or hardware failure in any circumstances. Should this situation arise we will do our very best to obtain cashback on the member's behalf from the Merchant but cannot make any guarantees. In any dispute over cashback awards the decision of Comparison Plus is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
5. In the event that a cashback payment has not been credited to your account within the time specified for that merchant, please provide details of the transaction to us. We will then contact the merchant on your behalf in order to try and recover the funds. Any payments made will be at the Merchant's own discretion. Missing cashback payments must be reported to us within 60 days of the original purchase. If Comparison Plus is succesful in aquiring Cashback that failed to track, you will receive 50% of the original Cashback amount.
6. Unless otherwise stated, cashback payments are only available on purchases completed online. No cashback will be paid on phone or post orders. Orders placed online that are later completed or revised by phone are also not eligible for cashback. If this occurs you are advised to cancel the order and place a new order online. 
7. The displayed Cashback value is for guidence only though every effort is made to keep these up to date and correct, you will not hold Comparison Plus responcible for differences, the cashback paid to your account will be in direct propotion to the commission received by Comparison Plus.
8. Some Retailers offer different levels of commission on indervidual products or catagories, the product pages displayes the highest cashback amount the retailer offers, information on any indervidual diferences can be found on the inderviduel retailers page accessibile by clicking the retailers logo along side the product. Comparison Plus accepts no recponcebility for your failer to check the validity of the dispaly

1. Payments can be claimed when you have accumulated a minimum of £25 cleared funds in your account, at this time a claim link will appear in your account Any account balance lower than £25 will be rolled over until the next Month.
2. Comparison Plus will pay all quailfied requests for payment received before the deadline on or before the last day of the month. Requests should be made no later than 14 working days before the end of the month, however no guarantee is made, and no liability accepted should the process take longer. Payment is made by BACS direct payment or cheque depending on what the member chooses when they fill in their payment details. Cheque payments will carry a 57p surcharge to cover banking fees of issuing a cheque, BACS direct payments carry no surcharge.
3. If you return or cancel a goods or services then you are not eligible for cashback unless the offer explicitly states otherwise (e.g. cashback on free trials). In the event that a cashback payment is displayed on your account as 'cleared' when it should have been 'reversed' you agree to inform Comparison Plus as soon as you become aware of this fact. You are not permitted to withdraw these funds, even if the system permits you to do so. Knowingly withdrawing cashback that should not be credited to your account constitutes fraud. In the event that a mistake occurs or there is fraud, you will be asked to repay any the cashback sum due. Should the member refuse to repay cashback all available methods, including legal action, will be taken to recover any loses sustained by Comparison Plus

All copyright, trade marks and all other intellectual property rights in the www.comparison-plus.co.uk website and its content (including without limitation the website design, text, graphics and all software and source codes connected with the website) are owned by or licensed to Comparison Plus or otherwise used by Comparison Plus as permitted by law.
2. In accessing the website you agree that you will access the content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. None of the content may be downloaded, copied, reproduced, transmitted, stored, sold or distributed without the prior written consent of the copyright holder. This excludes the downloading, copying and/or printing of pages of the website for personal, non-commercial home use only

When signing up to Comparison Plus you agree to receive these emails for as long as you are a member, should you cancel your membership you will be removed from the mailing list.

2. The amount of cashback paid to members is a percentage of the total payments received from the retailers it will vary from retailer to retailer and will average out between 50% and 65% of our commission

5. In the event of closure of the site, Comparison Plus will make every attempt to pay any cashback outstanding greater than the minimum withdrawal amount. All other cashback will be lost.
6. These terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with the site Privacy Policy and FAQ's.

In the event of war, invasion, act of foreign enemy hostilities (whether war has been declared or not) civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power, then Comparison Plus shall be relieved of liabilities incurred under this contract wherever and to the extent to which the fulfillment of such obligations is prevented, frustrated or impeded as a consequence of any such event or by any statute rules, regulations, orders or requisitions issued by any UK Government department, council or other duly constituted authority or from strikes, lockouts, breakdowns of plant or any other causes (whether or not of a like nature) beyond the control of Comparison Plus
